My kids enjoy the National Museum of Science and Nature – particularly on rainy days.
I recommend bringing your lunch from home or having snacks on the rooftop – there is a garden with room to wriggle and places to sit and have a bite to eat.
There is a cafe on the ground floor too (but you may have to queue on busy days.)
When you first enter the museum, ask for availability for the kids playroom sessions. There is a playcentre section with craft sections, climbing areas and some soft play.
My kids (2 and 4) really enjoyed it – also availability means that we haven’t got a spot here every time we visit.
