Aussie’s (especially Melburnians) are self-confessed coffee snobs.
I’m asked so often about where to find decent coffee in Japan (and if you say Starbucks then this isn’t the blog post for you – and you’re in luck because Starbucks is very easy to find in Japan.)
Please note – this is not a “cute cafes in Kyoto” post.

Vermillion Cafe
If you’re looking for decent coffee , avocado on toast or just a really lovely cafe, make sure you check out Vermillion Cafe near the station at Fushimi-Inari. The owner used to live in Melbourne and the quality of the coffee shows! There are actually two branches under the same name in the area. The one that is closest to the station is the Vermillion Espresso & Bar. (The other one is only 8 mins away though.)
