Please note that most gyms in Tokyo ask that gym users bring a pair of sneakers that haven’t been used outdoors. If you don’t – you will have to pair to wear rental shoes.
Another tip: most gyms have a strict no tattoo policy. Some may offer cover up patches for small tattoos but not all.
Please note that most gyms in Tokyo are not for heavy lifters. The weights don’t go up very high so you may want to check ahead.
