Hi all!
I’m getting asked more and more about summer camps for children visiting Japan for the summer.
These queries are mostly from parents who are wanting their children to have an immersive Japanese experience. Please understand that these camps are very common in Japan and, if they are, they are often run by international schools so most of these events will be designed for Japanese children looking for an English full-immersion experience – rather than the other way around.
Unfortunately, this kind of thing isn’t that common in Japan BUT there are some options (and I will keep adding to this list as I find more.)
Please note that some of these camps will require Japanese Health Insurance for your child to participate so please be sure to check with each provider separately.
Please note that I am not affiliated with these schools in anyway. These are simply a list of options for summer camp options in Japan.
